Reports, IGN map and tips for stage 10 of the GR20 North > South

Leaving Vizzavone, you enter the GR20 South! The GR20 South is a less rugged trail (in general), with more mileage and less marked terrain! This is the case for this stage, which will take you to the Capannelle ski resort!

Halfway along the route, about a 3-hour walk from Vizzavone and just under a 2-hour walk from Capanelle, you can take a break at the Alzeta sheepfold. Unlike the other sheepfolds, you can’t eat in Alzeta – it’s a ruined, abandoned sheepfold, but it still has all the charm of a rest stop!

Warning: the GR20 is a trail with high mountain sections, so don’t take this hike lightly: use appropriate hiking equipment for the GR20, be at least reasonably trained and don’t set off without IGN maps or the Topoguide
